Every workshop at Mayadori starts from the same belief - that creativity isn’t something you learn. It’s already in you. My job is just to help you find it.

Little Makers - Children’s Workshop

90 minutes · £18 per child

Build. Stick. Paint. Make something out of your imagination - with guided support.

Children build sculptures from rescued cardboard tubes and boxes. Stick them with glue made from flour and water. Paint them with colours squeezed from turmeric, beetroot and spinach. No kits. No copying. No synthetic anything. Just creative freedom - and seven years of teaching that tells me they always surprise you.

6–8 children - small enough for real attention
Every child leaves with a Maker’s Card describing their creation
All materials provided - send them in clothes that can get painty

First Steps - Make Together

90 minutes · £14 per adult · child goes free

Your first making session together - and honestly, one of my favourite sessions to run. Natural and repurposed materials: leaves, fabric scraps, paper, paint. Nothing precious, nothing complicated.

The goal isn’t a finished piece - it’s an hour where you both get absorbed in making something with your hands, side by side. No experience needed. No mess too big.

Teen Makers - Portfolio Session

2.5 hours · £28 per teen

For teens who are serious about creative subjects - or who just want to make something that actually challenges them.

Each session works like a real design brief. Teens upcycle a garment or object they bring, document their process and build one complete portfolio page.

Remake It - Upcycling Workshop

Bring something you no longer love. Leave with something you genuinely want to keep.

This is about looking at materials differently - seeing potential in something worn, forgotten or heading for the bin. I’ll guide the design thinking, the technique and the transformation.
