What do you need from us?

Tables and chairs for everyone, a sink nearby, thirty minutes to set up and twenty to clear away.

Adults use soft-cut lino with a safety bench hook, after a short brief at the start. Community groups and children use blade-free foam printing instead. I've run sessions for ages 8 to 80 without an incident.

Water-based inks that wash off hands and tables. Wear clothes that can get painty. I leave the room as I found it.

Can you host us instead?

Yes. Eastgate Community Centre, Northfleet, for up to 16 people.

Invoice, purchase order or card. 50% deposit to book, balance within seven days after the session.

Are you insured and DBS checked?

Yes to both. Public liability insured, Enhanced DBS certified, and a written risk assessment comes with every quote.

Can you adapt for accessibility?

Tell me about your group and I'll adapt. Everything is done seated, and large-grip tools are available.

How far do you travel?

Kent and south-east London as standard. Further by arrangement.

A session built around quiet team building

The best way to know your team isn't face to face. It's side by side. A session built around making rather than performing. Two hours of lino printing for 6 to 20 people, at your venue or mine, anywhere in Kent or south-east London. Everyone carves their own design and prints a set to take home. I bring everything; you find me some tables.

Why it works

Nobody has to perform.

Most team-building asks people to be visible and be a good sport. The ones who find that exhausting are often your most thoughtful people, and they spend the day managing how they come across instead of connecting. Carving asks for none of that.

The material does the reflecting.

You can't rush a cut and you can't undo one, so every cut is a decision. Nobody has to ask anyone to be mindful. Two hours disappear, and people think, decide and make without being told to.

Everyone leaves with something.

No certificates, no lanyards. A set of hand-printed cards or a tote, and the particular satisfaction of holding a thing you made yourself.

What kinds of events do you run these for?

I run these for workplaces, public-sector teams, NHS services, schools, care homes and community groups, at your venue anywhere in Kent and south-east London, or at Eastgate Community Centre in Northfleet.

If your event is not in the table above, ask anyway. The format barely changes, and I have probably run something close.

How it works

Tell me about your group.
Numbers, a date, where you are, and the feeling you're after.
I send a quote and a plan within one working day.
A 50% deposit holds the date.
On the day, I bring everything.
Blocks, tools, inks, paper, aprons, and a floor covering if you need one. You provide tables and a sink. Everyone wears clothes that can get painty.
